TECHNICS PRESENTS THE

2020 CANADIAN NATIONAL DMC DJ CHAMPIONSHIPS

DMC Canada is happy to announce that Technics is presenting the 2020 Canadian National DMC DJ Championships!  This 1ST 6 DJS to submit their 4-MINUTE videos will receive a FREE pair of Technics True Wireless Earbuds courtesy of presenting sponsor just for entering!

This competition will be facilitated 100% online via video submission.

DJs across Canada can submit their 4-MINUTE videos to earn a chance to advance to the 2020 DMC World DJ Championships and win some great prizing courtesy of our sponsors.

Video submission will be open between October 1st – 2020 to October 20TH 2020 via the 2020.DMCDJChamps.com.

THE DEADLINE FOR VIDEO SUBMISSION IS 11:59PM, OCTOBER 20TH, 2020.

NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED.

Our esteemed judging panel will evaluate all the entries and the top 3 finalists will be announced October 27th.

The 2020 Canadian National DMC DJ Champion will then move on to the main 6-MINUTE DMC World DJ Championships.  He / She will be required to submit a 2-MINUTE elimination video to qualify for the main event.  Elimination video submission for the DMC World DJ Championships begin on October 28th, 2020.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COMPETITION IS OPEN TO CANADIAN DJS ONLY!  PLEASE CONTACT YOUR RESPECTIVE BRANCH OR DMC WORLD FOR DETAILS ON ENTERING IN OTHER NATIONS.

The Classic DMC Showcase Category (4-MINUTE)

FORMAT

This is DMC’s classic 4-MINUTE solo showcase style DJ battle. The 1ST Place winner will move on to represent Canada via the 2020 DMC World DJ Competition via the 2-MINUTE video elimination round!

EQUIPMENT

DJs are permitted to utilize the equipment of their choice, there are no limits on your creativity!

GUIDELINES FOR VIDEO SUBMISSION

1) DJs must record their 4-minute video as a one-take, with absolutely no editing or splicing of several take.  You are however permitted to use multiple camera angles and or a green screen.

2) DJs must show their face at least once in the video to validate their identity.

3) Videos must submitted to DMC Canada / DMC World via the 2020.DMCDJCHAMPS.com website.

JUDGING

Videos will be viewed by our panel of judges and the Top 3 DJs will be announced once the scores are tallied.

PRIZING:

Prizing courtesy of our sponsors will be shipped to the Top 3 DJs after the event.
